In the 15th match minute, FC Kurdish Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes, Timmy Hasselqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kurdish Warriors and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timmy Hasselqvist hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 0-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Niclas Hjälm elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 26th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Gustafsson in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute FC Kurdish Warriors were awarded a corner. Anthon Svanér went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Anthon Svanér got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute of the game Edvin Johnsson made a throw-in which Ingvar Asmundsson played forward. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Wictor Hagström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Wictor Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wictor Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Hjälm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th match minute, FC Kurdish Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Svanér to maneuver through the defense. FC Kurdish Warriors's Conny Andreasson was substituted for Isac Christoffersson. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FC Kurdish Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdish Warriors's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Hagström came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Gustafsson in the 65th minute of the match. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Alfred Eklund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. Alfred Eklund hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Wilhelm Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Conny Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Mateo Garrido made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Hagström. FC Kurdish Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Conny Andreasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Chants of FC Kurdish Warriors echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Uruguay had held the ball for most of the match.
