Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Albano Unzueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. 20 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los once leones Ourense's Albano Unzueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Los once leones Ourense getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leandro Merino hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Cacheres came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dabi Vila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 39th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pablo-Enrique Alabern came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Los once leones Ourense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo-Enrique Alabern couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Pablo-Enrique Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los once leones Ourense's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo-Enrique Alabern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dabi Vila made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zach Harrison to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Albano Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Unzueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Los once leones Ourense getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pablo-Enrique Alabern hit a great ball. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Albano Unzueta made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Cacheres in the 72nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Albano Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Leandro Merino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match.
