Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Born To Win F.C.'s Cordeiro Comas got a free kick in the 5th minute. Nalo Rienda hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Cordeiro Comas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Born To Win F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cordeiro Comas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curro Quevedo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Curro Quevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Curro Quevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizka Aballe in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Born To Win F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Born To Win F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Saturnino Ledo hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Fresco Pais made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaizka Aballe to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Born To Win F.C.'s Curro Quevedo got control of the ball when Juan Rubio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 52 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Born To Win F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Saturnino Ledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Vilanova came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fresco Pais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rosario Vilanova came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Born To Win F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosario Vilanova couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Born To Win F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Fresco Pais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Nono Ramis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 79th minute of the match Lautaro Puig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Rosario Vilanova blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Gaizka Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Born To Win F.C. fully deserved thier win.
