Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Jerzy Urban shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. After 6 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 8th minute, Karol Zdeb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Karol Zdeb sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced 1. FC Krotoszyn's goalkeeper Cengizhan Şahistan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cengizhan Şahistan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute, Ludomil Pilsudski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Wawrzyniec Kisielka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Wawrzyniec Kisielka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Kisielka came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 1. FC Krotoszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Urban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Herbert Pawelczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1. FC Krotoszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of 1. FC Krotoszyn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wawrzyniec Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Fryderyk Kanczuszewski in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Urban in the 63rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wawrzyniec Kisielka in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krzysztof Sliwinski during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Krzysztof Sliwinski hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Karol Zdeb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in 1. FC Krotoszyn's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengizhan Şahistan came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
