Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. César Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rony Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when César Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tage Backlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Preuss's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Rony Zanette to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Andrey Villasante hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rony Zanette made a huge save. Rony Zanette made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rony Zanette firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Xiboquinha FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Venezuela for much of the match.
