Saul Etxeberri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Arias in the 15th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Francisco Seco in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Saul Etxeberri stood somewhat misplaced when Maximiliano Escribano came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Remigio Arias scored 3-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Remigio Arias took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 43 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Saul Etxeberri managed to make a qualified save. San Fernando Eagles's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Saul Etxeberri in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonzalo Odilon's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Odilon helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Etxeberri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Etxeberri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Bras in the 60th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Maximiliano Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. In the 70th minute, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Covarrubias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uruguay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Covarrubias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 69 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The corner ended in Maximiliano Escribano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri did a great save. After some careless play in the San Fernando Eagles defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Etxeberri. The San Fernando Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Etxeberri should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in San Fernando Eagles's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Etxeberri came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Eduino. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 8-3, to the right of San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri. Saul Etxeberri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Saul Etxeberri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 9-3, to the right of San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri. Saul Etxeberri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Etxeberri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Uruguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
