Kazım Çubukcu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Fazlı Mahir came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milagros Cabal during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Garikoitz saved Aras17 from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Sebastian Villa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Fazlı Mahir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gervasio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Aras17 got a freekick which was hit by Demirhan Otaç. In the 33rd minute, Honduras's Sebastian Villa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gervasio Garikoitz. Gervasio Garikoitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 36th minute Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birsel Tuğsavan went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gervasio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 41st minute of play. Milagros Cabal was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 45th minute. Çelikan Eroğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rik Dalman sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Çelikan Eroğlu in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aras17's goalkeeper Gervasio Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rik Dalman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fazlı Mahir in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Honduras's Moises Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Garikoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gervasio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rik Dalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, Honduras's Luca Espinar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Garikoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gervasio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fazlı Mahir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
