Maximo Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Maximo Calixto was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Mauro Matos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauro Matos really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Sagrario to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Calixto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Pastor Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elite Azulgrana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
