When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Cristobal Aurken put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristo Domenec. Epifanio Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Valentin Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Nisio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Placido Nisio. Jorge Arnas took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentin Eguntsenti. Valentin Eguntsenti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Arnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Formerio to maneuver through the defense.
