After the first half LiBeRiA F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute De Boedo Vengo were awarded a corner. Lázaro Turi went to the cornerflag to take it. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mario Molina fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LiBeRiA F.C.'s protests and gave Mario Molina a yellow card for diving instead. Mario Molina hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, De Boedo Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Baltasar Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant De Boedo Vengo side.
