The tension between the Yala and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. 2 minutes into the game, one of Yala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Prudencio Lluciano. Prudencio Lluciano made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Jeronimo Bertin sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Emmanuel during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Donato Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yala's Prudencio Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Tipi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Angelino Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Birjaio. In the 30th minute Conrado Nesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Normando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Lluciano was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Mario Tipi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mario Tipi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Abel Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Lluciano having to interfere. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luisito Birjaio hit a great ball. Prudencio Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Tipi in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Wilfredo Igon had to leave the field with a concussion. 45 minutes into the game, Filiberto Formerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bendito Sea El Fernet the free kick. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Nesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Bendito Sea El Fernet had won after a very even match.
