Romeo Florinio started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Aureliano Loramendi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Arano. CERPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Loramendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Elite Azulgrana booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Elite Azulgrana's Pastor Sagrario made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Arano was left in no man's land by his defense there! CERPA's Bernabe Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Sagrario in the 16th minute of play. Pastor Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Romeo Florinio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dionisio Ondino. Romeo Florinio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 22 minutes of play, Elite Azulgrana's Pastor Sagrario made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernabe Arano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Aureliano Loramendi made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Arano. CERPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Pastor Sagrario put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Arano. With a little luck, Elite Azulgrana's Dionisio Ondino got control of the ball when Romeo Florinio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Elite Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Florinio came free, but Dionisio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Sagrario in the 40th minute of play forced CERPA's goalkeeper Bernabe Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Luzaide came free, but Bernabe Arano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Pastor Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Sagrario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Elite Azulgrana's Tito Villalba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Arano. Bernabe Arano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. In the 57th minute Pablo Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Arano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. After a rather tough play, CERPA's Augusto Oinatz got a free kick in the 65th minute. Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernabe Arano but with some difficulty. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Aureliano Loramendi took a quick shot and it went in 2-9 without a chance for Bernabe Arano to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute, CERPA's Alberto Herauso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alberto Herauso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CERPA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alberto Herauso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 82nd match minute, CERPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Herauso to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes in the game Cristian Clementi got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 89th minute Pastor Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CERPA's Bernabe Arano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save CERPA from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Romeo Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ondino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Elite Azulgrana's Mauro Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-10. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elite Azulgrana eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
