Simon Malvin started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Qwinton during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Lázaro Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Xabel in the 4th minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Maximo Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Augusto Rosalio got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Benito Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Cutberto came free, but Maximo Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio got control of the ball when Ezequiel Gasteiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of La Scaloneta booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Longo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Calixto having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, C.A.JORGOVAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Malvin to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Xabel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximo Calixto. C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andres Longo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Maximo Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Scaloneta. 41 minutes into the game, La Scaloneta's Benito Cutberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Maximo Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Cutberto to make the kick off. Faustino Xabel's late challenge caught a C.A.JORGOVAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Xabel. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Gasteiz in the 57th minute of play. Maximo Calixto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Cutberto in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Faustino Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes, C.A.JORGOVAN's Aaron Beila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Rocio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A.JORGOVAN reached it. When Ezequiel Gasteiz came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the C.A.JORGOVAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Gasteiz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Cutberto in the 74th minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Maximo Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, C.A.JORGOVAN's Lucio Fero got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to C.A.JORGOVAN getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ezequiel Gasteiz hit a great ball. Maximo Calixto made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Benito Cutberto sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Simon Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Gilberto Dunixi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 83 in the game by Benito Cutberto from a close distance when the talented Maximo Calixto managed to make a qualified save. C.A.JORGOVAN's players were relieved. Andres Longo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C.A.JORGOVAN manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing La Scaloneta to win.
