In the 3rd minute, Bonifacio Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Yala's Ulises Tello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulises Tello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Yala protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulises Tello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Tello to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Alzaga FC booed when Yala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Manuel Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes, Manuel Ekain made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yala's Prudencio Lluciano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Manuel Ekain put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Prudencio Lluciano. Yala's Prudencio Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Ekain in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes Yala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Ekain who took care of the corner kick. Alzaga FC's Manuel Ekain was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Prudencio Lluciano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alzaga FC were furious when Fabricio Bustos was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After the first half Alzaga FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Ekain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Manuel Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Ekain in the 59th minute of the match. Emanuel Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Manuel Ekain took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Prudencio Lluciano to make any attempt to save it. Natalio Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Lluciano having to interfere. Alzaga FC's Severo Gilen was substituted for Martin Indartsu. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Paolo Platon replaced Apolo Cordarryl. After 82 minutes of play, Alzaga FC's Manuel Ekain made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Lluciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Yala booed when Alzaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alzaga FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tiburcio Quintun hit a great ball. In the 98th minute Alzaga FC were awarded a corner. Manuel Ekain went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alzaga FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
