Jâninho Potiguar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Leibrandt. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Niko Leibrandt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niko Leibrandt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jâninho Potiguar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niko Leibrandt went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Niko Leibrandt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmut Schepers in the 45th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matt Sharples sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niko Leibrandt was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Tohias Felipez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tohias Felipez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Niko Leibrandt put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Leibrandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jâninho Potiguar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Venezuela booed when C.A.Tapiales - Münster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt Sharples didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niko Leibrandt struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Tapiales - Münster. There was no doubt that C.A.Tapiales - Münster were the better team. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
