Rohan Watson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Koby Wright tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yahia van der Saar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Xacintu in the 19th minute of play. Yahia van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clayton Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jax Williamson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clayton Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 30th minute of play. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahia van der Saar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rohan Watson in the 43rd minute. Clayton Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Yahia van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clayton Gol in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Koby Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yahia van der Saar was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagan Pavlovic to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes in the game Alfred John did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jan Dixon. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 79th minute of play. Clayton Gol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jax Williamson came out and tried to block the shot, but Clayton Gol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Yahia van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prince Anderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Dixon took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yahia van der Saar. Yahia van der Saar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 90th minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Cordone. Sheriff's Alejandro Rubin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Regan Jordan, made in the 95th minute of the game. Canada were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
