Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Polo Quinteros made the kick off which started today's match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Victorio Ado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorio Ado. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Polo Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Victorio Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Polo Quinteros sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. With a little luck, San Fernando Eagles's Victorio Ado got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Ulysses Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Polo Quinteros in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Schmidt. After a defensive mix-up in San Fernando Eagles's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Ado came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorio Ado. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Ado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Viator came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victorio Ado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita scored 5-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorio Ado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Ado having to interfere.
