Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cătălin Trică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. In the 17th minute Nistor Anton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iustin Radovan scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Radovan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Anton in the 28th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Anton in the 33rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Anton, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Anton in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Berganza during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Șerbulea took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Panama players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Purcaresti CSS were winning 0-3.

After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Panama defense, David Zamfirescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Anton. Cătălin Trică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Nistor Anton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Radovan in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Șerbulea in the 76th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Iustin Radovan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iustin Radovan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Mazăre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dylan Sarmiento the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dylan Sarmiento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Iustin Radovan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Nistor Anton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cătălin Trică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Purcaresti CSS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
