Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Milito took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Pes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Taurino came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Severiano Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Neron saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Isaac Dayam hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino. But to his dismay, Severiano Taurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Taurino to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Dayam. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Neron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Neron saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Milito in the 43rd minute of play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match Marciano Koldobika shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Severiano Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Jakes's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Marciano Koldobika got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Candido Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Isaac Dayam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Balvanera and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Balvanera getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Isaac Dayam hit a great ball. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Abel Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Deportivo Balvanera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
