Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Soroca F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
