When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 杨棋威, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
