Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jimmie Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmie Eckegren. That made the score 3-0 after 31 minutes of play. With a little luck, Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, one of Preator Edikt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Preator Edikt. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Preator Edikt's Jimmie Eckegren. 4-0. Preator Edikt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Jimmie Eckegren, making the score, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Adam Kihlman got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Adam Kihlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preator Edikt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 58th minute, Adam Kihlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmie Eckegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jimmie Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Preator Edikt's goalie prevented a goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimmie Eckegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jimmie Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Eckegren having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Adam Kihlman. Venezuela walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
