A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tobias Oto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cemal Üstüner. 18 minutes into the match, Özcan Mertol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özcan Mertol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Bürger in the 26th minute. Cemal Üstüner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Oto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Özcan Mertol came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cemal Üstüner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Efespor's Tobias Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Efespor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tobias Oto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Tobias Oto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Efespor's Pacorro De Silva got a free kick in the 69th minute. A long shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play was well struck, but Tobias Oto made a really good save at the right post. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tobias Oto could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Özcan Mertol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Joel Gaona in the 84th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tobias Oto kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Tobias Oto in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efespor's Tobias Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 95th minute of play. The Efespor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
