Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. In the 11thth minute of the game Jeff Beck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Víktor Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Diniz got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes, Bruno Beldad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Pindobassu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Víktor Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindobassu EC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Víktor Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Jeff Beck from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jeff Beck made the kick off in the second half. If Jeff Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes Pindobassu EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wilfredo Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Pindobassu EC made a substitution. Azmi Kamuran replaced Mário Azevedo. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilfredo Rodriguez could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Jeff Beck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Pindobassu EC's Wilfredo Rodriguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Pindobassu EC from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Vargas. Pindobassu EC's Gilberto Cordeiro was substituted for Humberto Diniz. Nilmar Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Cordeiro in the 97th minute of play. The Pindobassu EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
