Aybek Kiyas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cemal Üstüner in the 21st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jacob Bürger sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Efespor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aybek Kiyas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Bürger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Jacob Bürger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Tolga Başarman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Bürger, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cemal Üstüner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cemal Üstüner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 74th minute of the match. Jacob Bürger struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Efespor. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Oto was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Tolga Başarman made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. In the 86thth minute of the game Jacob Bürger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Efespor's goalkeeper Tobias Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. 95 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Efespor the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Tolga Başarman in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side. Efespor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
