Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horia Tătaru went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Horia Tătaru scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preator Edikt the free kick. Preator Edikt's Michael Stor was substituted for Fellipe Vianna. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Horia Tătaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Tătaru in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Horia Tătaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Tătaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 25 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Horia Tătaru notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Tătaru in the 30th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Tătaru in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Horia Tătaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Preator Edikt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist was substituted for Horia Tătaru. In the 44th minute Stig-Ove Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Ove Blomqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Preator Edikt's Ashley Cole quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 58th minute Stig-Ove Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Stig-Ove Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 65th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Ove Blomqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Stig-Ove Blomqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist. Preator Edikt were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Gustavo Barbosa took the corner. Hugo Ferrant was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Stig-Ove Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Stig-Ove Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-9 after 80 minutes of play. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Stig-Ove Blomqvist scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-10. When Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist.
