Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Txomin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Eugenio Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Eugenio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. Gallo Moron's Eugenio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 11th minute of play. If Ernesto Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Gino Peruzzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Txomin in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Denis Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Txomin in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. When Denis Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gallo Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Txomin couldn't finish the play. Gallo Moron's Eugenio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. Eugenio Fidensio came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Txomin in the 42nd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Fidensio having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Gallo Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Eugenio Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Txomin to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gallo Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Fidensio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Farias came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Astigar in the 65th minute of play. Eugenio Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of the match. Gallo Moron made a substitution. Joel Gudesteo replaced Ernesto Farias. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Fidensio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Astigar in the 77th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Gallo Moron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gudesteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Astigar in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Joel Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Joel Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Gallo Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Eugenio Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gallo Moron defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Fidensio. The Gallo Moron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Fidensio should have stopped the shot. The Gallo Moron supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
