Thanks to some nice moves Shane Nottingham could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Shane Nottingham tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Morales having to interfere. Cristiano Håland, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Baransel Tezveren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Baransel Tezveren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Frasco Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Frasco Morales made a huge save. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Nottingham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Ecuador's Daniel Zorita stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Frasco Morales stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing ФК Цомбомания of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shane Nottingham in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Frasco Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Håland in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ФК Цомбомания.
