Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feridun Muslera having to make a save. After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, KoTyoRa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenan Vahit to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes KoTyoRa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. KoTyoRa's Feridun Muslera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yan Guo Yang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. KoTyoRa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

KoTyoRa's Serhat Sualp was substituted for Yalçın Beksan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seppe van Goetsenhoven made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Vahit in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. 60 minutes into the match, Yan Guo Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Guo Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cenan Vahit in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Guo Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clyde Azzopardi kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Akil Yay kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Feridun Muslera made a huge save. Akil Yay's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akil Yay helped the player get up and apologised. Akil Yay hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Vahit in the 89th minute of play. Feridun Muslera made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KoTyoRa.
