Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute of play forced Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Wellington Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wellington Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Edmundo Espiga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The throw-in from Raúl de Carvalho in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. In the 27th minute, Lino Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute Juan Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Lino Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Torres in the 37th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Almeida in the 41st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Torres came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Wellington Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Wellington Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rdth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riograndense FC's Wellington Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riograndense FC's goalkeeper Wellington Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Riograndense FC's Tião Neiva. In the 82nd minute, Lino Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Wellington Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 91st minute of the match. Raúl de Carvalho got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rômulo Fontes. Chants of Riograndense FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Honduras had held the ball for most of the match.
