After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Shane Nottingham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute of the game Daniel Gaxan made a throw-in which Cristiano Håland played forward. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frasco Morales having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Håland in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baransel Tezveren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Tezveren in the 32nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Baransel Tezveren sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. ФК Цомбомания's Baransel Tezveren got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Tezveren in the 45th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baransel Tezveren in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baransel Tezveren was the one to do the kick off. Cristiano Håland hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Daniel Gaxan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frasco Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Cristiano Håland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 62 minutes into the game, ФК Цомбомания's Shane Nottingham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Gaxan in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Shane Nottingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristiano Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot. ФК Цомбомания's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Håland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Nottingham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frasco Morales was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jose Correa.
