Tolga Helvacıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Aras17's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Gervasio Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aras17's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Garikoitz came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Garikoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gervasio Garikoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 28 minutes of play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gervasio Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 32nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç in the 33rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Marcos Cotilla managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Aras17's Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Aras17 got a freekick which was hit by Fazlı Mahir. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Garikoitz having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Rik Dalman's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rik Dalman helped the player get up and apologised. Rik Dalman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Mustafa Emrah Ünsaç made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazlı Mahir in the 67th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Cambeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Panama had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
