Merton Albion FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Daniel Zorita 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Barraclough. Merton Albion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 87 minutes into the match, Merton Albion FC's goalkeeper Laurence Barraclough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Merton Albion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Laurence Barraclough in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merton Albion FC.
