Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. A collision led to FC Shifen III getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kristoffer Jelm hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georg Godholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Godholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Cesario in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Georg Godholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes FC Shifen III's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cesario in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Godholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Godholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Jacinto Cesario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, FC Shifen III's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Georg Godholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Godholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Shifen III booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Freddy Dimo in the 48th minute really tested Dante Lacasa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Cesario was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Georg Godholm made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Georg Godholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Fossum, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Melker Jokiranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Shifen III's goalkeeper Georg Godholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Jacinto Cesario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Georg Godholm made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Cesario in the 71st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Georg Godholm. FC Shifen III's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 96th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense.
