Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juan Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Fontes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Torres in the 11th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Luque went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lino Torres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Torres slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Almeida in the 24th minute. 24 minutes in the game, Juan Almeida dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 30th minute, Juan Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riograndense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Riograndense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Wellington Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Riograndense FC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Donatello. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edu Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Torres in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Almeida came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Riograndense FC's Juan Almeida made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Riograndense FC's Edu Donatello. After 72 minutes, Edu Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riograndense FC and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wellington Sena acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateo Leguizamo. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Edu Donatello with Rômulo Fontes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Juan Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Lino Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Riograndense FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Torres in the 94th minute of the match. Riograndense FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
