Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Barrantes came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Volio took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Abram Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Monge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. The CS La Libertad fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, Miguel Volio notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lobo came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Miguel Volio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Monge was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-3. 41 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Millot came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Volio in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Barrantes made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Mainor Coronado in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. When Reynaldo Esquivel fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CS La Libertad's protests and gave Reynaldo Esquivel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Reynaldo Esquivel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Monge saved CS La Libertad from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Monge. In the 56th minute Miguel Volio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Volio in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Ernesto Monge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Monge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Millot in the 64th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. 73 minutes into the game, Abram Secada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Ernesto Monge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Agustin Barrantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, CS La Libertad's Gerardo Millot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-4. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Monge. Ernesto Monge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. 85 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Barrantes came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agustin Barrantes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustin Barrantes slotted it home off the left post making it 5-5 in the 92nd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
