Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Wielowiejski got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gliwicka Torcida were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 肖树鸿 took the corner. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Claudinho Taffarel made a huge save. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Claudinho Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Gliwicka Torcida's Mateusz Grajewski has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 57th minute. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Claudinho Taffarel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Moreno in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Bator in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Gliwicka Torcida had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
