In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nadruvis's goalkeeper Egidijus Petukas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Nadruvis booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ovidijus Rajeckas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Nadruvis. 59 minutes in the game Donatas Kasiulis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daumantas Navikas. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Nadruvis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute Vygandas Morkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
