Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Andrei Pavel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Măgură, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Andrei Pavel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Fanaticii from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrei Pavel. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Fanaticii fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
