Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Wielowiejski in the 11th minute. Claudinho Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Taffarel having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pawel Turok sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match, Fabian Bator tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pawel Turok kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Facundo Cadaval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 31st match minute, Gliwicka Torcida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Bator to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Gliwicka Torcida getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Grzegorz Wielowiejski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of play forced Gliwicka Torcida's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Bator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Claudinho Taffarel made a huge save. Claudinho Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. In the 55th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Claudinho Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute Grzegorz Wielowiejski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Wielowiejski in the 64th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Fabian Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gliwicka Torcida's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gliwicka Torcida throughout the match.
