Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ernesto Monge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Volio in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Miguel Volio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Miguel Volio took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Volio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 22nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Luis Marin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CS La Libertad and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Marin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. After 33rd play minutes Agustin Barrantes shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Thiago Pliego and just under the crossbar into goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Barrantes in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 41st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agustin Barrantes made a kick off. Rodrigo Lobo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thiago Pliego firmly grabbed it by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Lobo. A collision led to CS La Libertad getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gerardo Millot hit a great ball. Orlando Casaus struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ernesto Monge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Gerardo Millot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Gerardo Millot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 63 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Mainor Coronado. Ernesto Monge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Monge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CS La Libertad were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chile's much stronger midfield.
