It was a penalty for Peracal FC! After 5 minutes Peracal FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Rosete managed, with a little bit of luck, save Tomas Illescas's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicanor Rosete. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Xuan Olazagoitia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Xiao Sotes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Peracal FC's Xiao Sotes. But to his dismay, Xiao Sotes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Nicanor Rosete in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nicanor Rosete made a huge save. When Gai Batalle came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Peracal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gai Batalle couldn't finish the play. Peracal FC's Nicanor Rosete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of play. Peracal FC's attentive Xuan Olazagoitia managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half Peracal FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Behe Andrada made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peracal FC's Nicanor Rosete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Peracal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Behe Andrada in the 61st minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Sotes in the 65th minute of play. The corner ended in Behe Andrada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Rosete having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Salvidor Castellana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peracal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 79 played minutes Peracal FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvidor Castellana. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Behe Andrada was slow to take the kick. During this time Peracal FC's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Sotes in the 85th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Rosete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Servando Santander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peracal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
