Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bibiano Barbosa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argider Lizundia in the 26th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Servando Ariste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Argider Lizundia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Bibiano Barbosa made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Bibiano Barbosa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toti Iglesias got free with Dante Lacasa in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toti Iglesias. Alberto Tafalla succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Lorenzo Cazalla scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bibiano Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bibiano Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bibiano Barbosa. 『盛世メ名門』CON-E-CO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
