Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes, FC Arsenal Varna's Adalbert Mindizov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Arsenal Varna reached it. FC Arsenal Varna:s Zhecho Tomev showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhecho Tomev. FC Arsenal Varna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lyuben Vlaykovski in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lyuben Vlaykovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Arsenal Varna's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyuben Vlaykovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyuben Vlaykovski hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, FC Arsenal Varna's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Zhecho Tomev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyuben Vlaykovski in the 27th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes FC Arsenal Varna got a freekick which was hit by Hristo Zlatanchev. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhecho Tomev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adalbert Mindizov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Arsenal Varna's players had a chance to rest. FC Arsenal Varna's Adalbert Mindizov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zhecho Tomev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. If Rosen Penchovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Rosen Penchovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lyuben Vlaykovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lyuben Vlaykovski made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Peep Jüriöö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosen Penchovski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Zlatanchev in the 79th minute of play. After 79th play minutes Lyuben Vlaykovski shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Dante Lacasa and just under the crossbar into goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyuben Vlaykovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Lyuben Vlaykovski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes FC Arsenal Varna got a freekick which was hit by 任明岩. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Arsenal Varna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
