Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 11th minute of the match. Saronida FC's Laurențiu Susara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Saronida FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Karl-Heinz Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saronida FC's Valerios Voutsas in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valerios Voutsas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egil Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Saronida FC's Jonas Pacheco was substituted for Stefanos Rigopoulos. 62 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Laurențiu Susara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, USA's Raphael Moore got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute, Karl-Heinz Schneider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
