Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Villalcazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ferreros, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Moises Villalcazars short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ferreros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ferreros in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when PACIFIC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xefe Azpeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after PACIFIC FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ferreros in the 48th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Francisco Ferreros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Villalcazar to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 54th minute of the match Anibal Serrano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Ferreros in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Casasola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute. Moises Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Villalcazar in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Carlos Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of play forced PACIFIC FC's goalkeeper Carlos Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by PACIFIC FC's Moises Villalcazar. But to his dismay, Moises Villalcazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. PACIFIC FC made a substitution. Xurdin Jado replaced Anibal Serrano. After 85 played minutes, PACIFIC FC's Xefe Azpeitia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PACIFIC FC reached it. In the 89th minute, Moises Villalcazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Villalcazar in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball.
