Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Gitano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jarana FC reached it. In the 8th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Wilfredo Gitano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Gitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Gitano notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Gitano took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 35th minute, Wilfredo Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jarana FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Jarana FC were awarded a corner. Yang Yao Kuan went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalmer Üksvärav in the 42nd minute of the match. Tadeo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Gitano notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Wilfredo Gitano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 58th playminute. After 61 minutes of play, Jarana FC's Valko De Hond made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Gitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Gitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Benito Sanz went to the wrong direction when Yang Yao Kuan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 76th minute of play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sigve Rossland took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. 86 minutes into the match, Sigve Rossland notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Efrain Moruga with Eliseo Noboa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Gitano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the game, Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. If Sigve Rossland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarana FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
