Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 邱森升 to make the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Francisc Ozon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. Francisc Ozon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 俞明平 hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute 俞明平 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Ozon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Francisc Ozon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, 俞明平 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卓坤渊 kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 97th minute of play forced 天津建卫600周年纪念队's goalkeeper Francisc Ozon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mexico had won after a very even match.
