Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 37th minute of play. If Pedro Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yiğitcan İstanbullu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğitcan İstanbullu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiğitcan İstanbullu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Lima made the kick off in the second half. Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 51st minute of play. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yiğitcan İstanbullu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Murillo in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yiğitcan İstanbullu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Yiğitcan İstanbullu managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğitcan İstanbullu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 63rd minute of the match. Jurassic Monsters SA's Yiğitcan İstanbullu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Lima in the 69th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yiğitcan İstanbullu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurassic Monsters SA's Célio Saldanha was substituted for Kauan Cunha. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Célio Saldanha made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. The throw-in from Pedro Grandis in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Yiğitcan İstanbullu was a little too slow when Rafael Gallo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-1. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
