Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Gunnar Håning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårdala FF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Fårdala FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gunnar Håning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Håning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steve Trawel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Gunnar Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jonathan Alfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Håning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Håning was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Trawel was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Steve Trawel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunnar Håning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunnar Håning, 0-3. After 67th play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gunnar Håning and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Fårdala FF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Håning. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Gunnar Håning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
